Luke Smith is an e-celebrity, minimalism advocate, linguist and free software developer.

His technology videos have garnered him e-fame. Luke is currently "in the woods" (Tennessee?), living a minimalist lifestyle inspired by "Uncle" Ted Kaczynski. Astute readers should note that there is no exception for minimalist software in Ted Kaczynski's anti-technology ideology - which makes Luke a bit of a false believer.

As a linguist, Luke is familiar with several languages including Latin. But don't ask him to actually demonstrate any languages he claims to speak such as Chinese or Old Icelandic.

He is the author of the vimling vim plugin which makes it easier to input IPA symbols and letter accents. He also made lb, a tool for maintaining a static blog. He is also behind some suspicious yogurt stains, which he doesn't talk about.
